Nicholas Pigments and Inks is, manufacturer and distributor of specialty chemicals, catering the growing needs of different industries such as Leather, Textiles, Sugar and Paper. Some of our in-house developed products are very well accepted by Textile and Leather industries specifically.
Location
We are based at Kanpur i.e. industrial capital of Uttar Pradesh, India with eight marketing office across India. Kanpur was also known as Manchester of India because of many textile industries started in British Rule and grew after country got independence also. The city is also hub of Leather Tanning, Footwear and other Leather related goods’ export. This gives us added advantage of developing need based solutions as well as a well developed market within our reach.
History / Beginning
In the year 1997, one of our founders sensed the absence of innovation and research in chemical industry (particularly in Kanpur). She also felt the gap between requirement and proposed solutions. Being a chemical enthusiast and support from her husband, who was a very senior officer in a Textile group, she prepared the ground work and conceived the IDEA of a Customer Centric Solution based Chemical Company, resulted under the name and style of Nicholas Pigments and Inks.
We at Nicholas, started our commercial operations in 2000 with a staff of 5. Our researched and innovative products helped us in gaining confidence of customers and today we are a multi Crore Group having manufacturing units at 3 locations with staff count of 100+.
We have a dedicated team of young and energetic technicians for research and development work who work under supervision of senior experienced staff to offer innovative solutions to our customers with the international parameters of quality like OEKO Tex / GOTS / REACH / ZDHC - MSRL.
Presently we serve globally through our sales offices as well as via our distributor’s network spread throughout India. Our Sales / marketing team, which is well equipped with technical knowledge and related experience, is always ready to help customers by replying to their queries and offer solutions on site.
